PBK has re-teamed with longtime collaborator, Ernest C. Carter, to form the freenoise group, Damned Head. Taking their inspiration from such free jazz duo's as Coltrane/Ali, Brotzmann/Bennink, and Taylor/Oxley, the group combines devastating distorted rhythms with freely improvised synthnoise. In April, the group debuted at the International Noise Conference in Detroit. (video here) Their first album, "Into My Head", will be released by Kwark Records in the Netherlands.
